Colin Hill
Colin has forged an enviable reputation for his ability to make race cars go fast. Incredibly resourceful and with an unparalleled attention to detail, Colin’s tireless work ethic ensures CHE Racing Team cars are always among the best prepared on the grid. An experienced welder and fabricator, Colin first became involved in motorsport in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, building and running top level Sports Sedans, while also fabricating many race cars roll cages that are still in service to this day. There is nothing Colin can’t make or fix, and with CHE Racing’s extensive workshop machinery, no job is too big or small. He is extremely passionate about motorsport and has a burning desire to be at the front of the field.

Management
Ben Gathercole

With a management and coaching background that includes Olympic, Commonwealth Games and World Championship campaigns, Ben was able to bring recent best industry practices from teams such as the ACT Brumbies Super Rugby and Triathlon Australia to refine the team’s structure, improve its processes and procedures and optimise the performance of all the team members in a competitive and high-pressure environment.
Cameron Hill
While Cameron is best-known for his prodigious talents as a racing driver, his organisational skills are an integral part of CHE Racing’s day-to-day operations.
Cameron handles the running of the team’s customer program, undertaking duties such as planning test days and race meeting logistics, keeping logs of the team’s tyre bank and the life of componentry on the cars.
Cameron also assists in the coaching and development of the team’s drivers, drawing on his own experiences on and off the track. Competitive by nature, Cameron is heavily invested in seeing his young protégés extract the best from themselves, especially when they are on the top step of the podium.
